Terms of Service

Last updated August 3, 2026

These terms cover what you can do with the data, what we promise about it, and how billing works. The data licence in section 3 is the part most people are looking for.

1.Agreement

These terms govern your use of holdenleads.com and the data it provides. By creating an account or buying access you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company.

2.Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything done through your account. Accounts are for one business. Sharing credentials outside your organisation, or reselling access, is not permitted.

Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

3.Data licence

While your plan is active, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the dispensary data we provide for your own business purposes — researching the market and contacting the businesses listed about your products and services.

You may not:

  • resell, sublicense, rent, or otherwise redistribute the data, in whole or in part
  • republish it as a directory, dataset, or database that competes with this one
  • incorporate it into a product you sell to others
  • share your export files outside your organisation
  • use it to train a machine-learning model intended for redistribution

Exports you have already downloaded remain yours to use internally after your plan ends, under the same restrictions. The licence to take new exports ends with your plan.

4.Accuracy

We compile records from public filings published by state cannabis regulators across 10 states and refresh them on a weekly cycle. Regulators publish on their own schedules, businesses open and close, and contact details change.

The data is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it is complete, current, or free of errors, and you should verify anything you intend to rely on. A licence appearing in our database is not confirmation that a business is currently operating or in good standing — check the regulator directly.

5.Acceptable use

You may not scrape, crawl, or use automated tools against this site, attempt to bypass tier restrictions or access data your plan does not include, probe our security, or interfere with the service.

You are solely responsible for complying with the laws that govern your outreach — including CAN-SPAM, CASL, the TCPA, and state marketing and do-not-call rules. Nothing in the data is an invitation to contact anyone unlawfully, and a business appearing in our database has not consented to receive marketing from you.

6.Payment and cancellation

Prices are shown on the pricing page and charged through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each period until cancelled, and cancelling stops the next renewal — it does not refund the period already paid for. One-time purchases grant a snapshot of the data at the time of purchase.

If the service does not do what we said it does, email [email protected] within 14 days of your purchase and we will sort out a refund.

We may change prices for future periods with notice to active customers.

7.Dispensary listings

If you operate a listed dispensary you may claim your listing to correct its details or tell suppliers what you are interested in hearing about. Claiming requires verification that you represent the business, and submitting false information is grounds for removal.

To have your business removed from the database, email [email protected].

8.Our rights

The site, its design, and the compilation of the database are ours. The underlying public records are not, but our selection, arrangement, verification, and enrichment of them are.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and we may change or discontinue features. If we make a material change to these terms, we will update this page and notify account holders.

9.Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost business arising from your use of the data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the data, including claims about how you contacted the businesses in it.

10.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and the courts of California have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from them.
